Consultant Archivist has extensive experience of training archive and records management professionals in the fields of archive management, digital preservation, copyright, data protection, business skills, records management, external funding, and engagement with new audiences. We have recently run a succession of successful sessions on copyright for the Scottish Council on Archives.

We also lead training sessions and workshops on media and marketing, including social media strategies and website development for heritage organisations and individuals.  

 

Volunteers

We also run training sessions for volunteers in the field of basic cataloguing, basic preservation, digitisation, and managing digital records. We have recently run training sessions on managing digital records for the British Association of Local History.
