Monitoring Environmental Conditions and Preservation Assessment
We have extensive experience of monitoring and recommending storage conditions for archives and records. We can advise on the new BS 4971: 2017 and BS EN 16893: 2018 standards, as well as on preservation options. We can also carry out a preservation review to identify requirements.

Staff and Volunteer Management, Training and Coaching
We have extensive experience of undertaking staff and volunteer training, recruitment, management and supervision. We provide bespoke in-house training to volunteers and staff on aspects such as palaeography, Latin, listing and basic handling.

We are accustomed to undertaking outreach work with schools, universities and groups, and to developing educational materials. We also undertake audience development. We are accustomed to designing and providing support for online and physical exhibitions.

We can undertake historical research. We also support historical research by data cleaning, transcription, and provide advice on palaeography (including Latin), and translation of German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch, Latin and Icelandic languages.

We have almost two decades' experience of carrying out professional archival research. This is combined with expertise in historical research, professional archive research qualifications, and an established presence in history academia.
